Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using count.live (the "Service"), including the website at count.live and the count.live apps for iOS and Android, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

count.live is a free countdown timer tool, supported by advertising on the website's builder page. You can build shareable countdown pages, import them via links, and — in the apps — save them to your device and receive local notifications. Countdown configurations are encoded in URLs; no user accounts or server-side storage of personal data are involved.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, educational, or commercial purposes, including:

• Sharing countdown links publicly or privately
• Embedding countdown iframes on your own websites
• Using the apps for personal countdown management

Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal or harmful activity
• Spread misinformation, deceptive content, or spam
• Harass, threaten, or target individuals or groups
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or attack the infrastructure
• Scrape or automate requests in a way that degrades service for others
• Generate fake ad impressions or clicks, or otherwise interfere with the advertising on the Service

Advertising

The builder page of the count.live website (where you create or edit a countdown) may show ads provided by third parties. Countdown pages, shared links, and embedded countdowns do not show ads. We may add advertising to other parts of the Service, such as the app, in the future, but the countdowns you share or embed will stay ad-free.

We don't endorse and aren't responsible for advertised products, services, or third-party websites you reach through an ad. Any dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising affects your data.

Intellectual Property

The count.live name, logo, and source code are owned by their respective creators. You retain all rights to any content (titles, event names, etc.) you enter into the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, count.live and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
