count.live for Android (beta)

The Android app is almost ready. Before it can launch on Google Play, it needs a group of testers using it for two weeks. Joining takes about two minutes.

Join in two steps

  1. Join the testers group. Sign in with the Google account you use on your Android phone and click Join group.

  2. Become a tester and install. On your Android phone, open count.live in Google Play, tap Become a tester, then Install. If the button doesn’t show yet, wait a few minutes after step 1 and try again.

    On a computer? Become a tester on the web with the same Google account, then install count.live from Google Play on your phone.

What’s in the app

  • Home-screen widgets in any size, each showing the countdown you pick, with your colors, fonts and photo.
  • A notification when a countdown reaches zero, even if the app is closed.
  • All your countdowns in one place, including any count.live link someone sends you.
  • Repeating countdowns, progress bars, time zones, confetti and fireworks: everything the website builder can do.

What we ask

  • Keep the app installed for at least 14 days. Google counts testers who stay opted in for two weeks.
  • Use it a little: make a countdown, add a widget, open a count.live link.
  • Tell us what breaks or what you’d change: dev@count.live.

Privacy

Joining the group shares your email address with us so Google Play can let you in. Only we can see the member list, the group never emails you, and you can leave it any time. The app itself collects no personal data; see the privacy policy.
