Make your school-year countdown
- Choose Customize this countdown and set your last day and the final bell, for example 3:15 p.m.
- Turn on the progress bar and percentage, with the start set to the first day of school. The bar shows how much of the year is done.
- Add a title like “Summer break in” and an end message such as “Have a great summer!”.
- Put it in your slides or on your class page.
count.live counts calendar days, not school days, so weekends and holidays are included. If your class counts school days on a chart, the progress bar is a good companion: it shows the share of the year that’s done.
In the classroom
- Morning slides: add it to your Canva presentation; it stays live while you present.
- Class website or learning platform: embed it in Canvas or Google Sites; see the classroom guide.
- Smartboards: open it full screen at the end of the day.
Students don’t need accounts, and the countdown shows no ads and uses no cookies or trackers.
